| Happy Easter to anyone who reads these. My mother always sent us on an easter egg hunt with clues and all. The last clue was of course, the prize, my basket. I can't for the life of me remember a big Easter dinner, or an Easter party at school. Here in MO, Easter is as big as Halloween. Everyone makes baskets for their children and loved ones. It's expected that there will be a traditional Easter dinner just like at Thanksgiving. My church had their first annual Easter Festival. It was ingenious if you ask me. We had over a thousand people from the community come and celebrate with us. Easter is the best holiday for a believer because we celebrate the Resurrection. The Resurrection is what sets apart Jesus from all other gods. He is the only God to raise Himself from the dead. I love that song, "my redeemer lives". My God is alive and in control, hallelujah! Just curious, how does your family celebrate Easter and what is your favorite part?

| Let me tell you how much I love this internet. Just posted and it zones out. Ugh! | | |
| I am convinced that God's faithfulness will always be a breath of fresh air to my soul. I know snow happens because of some scientific weather patterns, but I prefer to think that it snowed, big, large flakes just for me. The snow falling was so pretty it stopped me in my tracks and I had to stare in awe and wonder. I felt like a little girl inside of a snowglobe. Makes me miss Florida. Almost every day I could catch a sunset or a glimpse of the sun's rays setting on a lake or the ocean and every once in a while, God would paint a pink sunset with orange and yellow streams with an amber setting sun- just for me (I'm sure of it). I believe God is so connected with us that He uses His creation to bless us. To remind us how much He enjoys beauty. He is so beautiful, I cannot wait to see His face. The face of Jesus, my redeemer, my healer, my balm, my hero will be more than my eyes can behold. Like the prophets of old, when I get the smallest glimpse of Him in glory, I know it will knock me right off my feet. In the busyness of this moment, look for His glory in His creation and in His people, I promise you will be blessed if you do.

| My dad saved my life last night. When I was a teenager, he taught me to drive defensively. At times, he would make me stop the car and get out so he could drive home because I had missed a stop sign or not signaled properly. When I would drive a mile over the speed limit, he would flick my ear. My father drives for a living, and any ticket or accident would cost him his career. My dad also had my life in his heart. He knew defensive driving prevents accidents. As a teenager, I hated driving with my dad. I wished my high school had a class or something cause the learning process was such a painful experience.
Last night, I made a left turn from Glenstone to Kearney. As I was driving towards BBC, I sensed a car next to me moving closer. Instinctively I began to move into the middle lane. By the time I could look, the car next to me was in my lane where I had been seconds before. I continued driving in the middle turn lane and the other car continued drive in my lane ignorant that they almost killed me. That car would have completely sideswiped me into oncoming traffic had I not been taught to drive defensively. My dad saved my life last night because he taught me how to maneuver a vehicle in uncertain situations. I am reminded how our heavenly father, takes the steering wheel of my life and painfully tells me the best way to operate the vehicle. At times the growing pains cloud my vision and I begin to feel that my intellect is somehow superior. Just like my earthly dad, my heavenly father would rather chastise me now then see me die in a car wreck that could have been prevented.
Hope your having a great day!
